Arnold Sport Festival 2017

The 2017 Arnold Fitness EXPO was again feature more than 1,000 booths of the latest in sports equipment, apparel and nutrition and two stages that hosts unique, non-stop competitions and entertainment that combine to make the Arnold Fitness EXPO the heart of the Arnold Sports Festival. The Arnold Fitness EXPO was located in the main hall of the Greater Columbus Convention Center.

The Arnold Amateur Strongman World Championships (ASC version) as part of the Arnold Sports Festival, was once again feature more than 80 of the world’s top male amateur strongman athletes and over 100 of the top female amateur athletes from more than 25 countries.

Omid Amiri WSF- USA president and WSF board member was as supervisor on this competition behalf of WSF. From WSF participated 2 athletes :
-Oleksii Novikov (Ukraine) – the official coach – Sergiy Konyushok (Ukraine) –  takes 2nd place;
-Ramin Farajnejad (Iran) –  the official coach – Aref Farajnezhad (Iran) –  takes 3rd place.
They toghether will receive WSF Pro card.

The Arnold Amateur World Strongman Championships are governed by American Strongman Corporation.

We send the congratulations to Brian Shaw also on his win at the 2017 Arnold Strongman Classic, the event also served as the Arnold Pro Strongman World Series Championship! Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson – The Mountain takes second and Jerry Pritchett Strongman third.
