In Delhi officially registered The Federation of Strongman and Ethnosports with President Dronacharya Bhupender Dhawan . 5, July press conference was held in New Delhi, Vladislav Redkin, Chairman of World Strongman Federation declared Dronacharya Bhupender Dhawan to be the Vice President of WSF for Asia market, to

promote Strongman and Ethnosports in Asian countries and BRIC nations. Senior officials of Federation of Strongman and Ethnosports India along with Mr. Olympia Mukesh Singh, Mr. Sujit Khatri, Treasurer, Federation of Strongman and Ethnosports India (Regd.), and World Champion Surender Singh were present in the conference. Accepting this responsibility, Dronacharya Bhupender Dhawan while defining Ethnosports as a set of traditional styles of physical activity, methods of their preservation, and their development pledged to further promote Strongman and Ethnosports in Asian countries and BRIC nations and expressed hope that this move will bring new dimensions.
